As brilliant as the lamb stew was, it was pretty simple to make. I think it's a universal truism that the best recipes the world over all came from peasant food.

For the record, I made that recipe for "Bea" (lamb) stew yesterday. Bought a butt-end leg of lamb, butchered it into chunks which gave me about 2 lbs of meat. Served it with garlic whipped potatoes, Irish soda bread, steamed cabbage and lots of pints to wash it down. Fokkin' delish.
I find it ironic that she thinks eating dog meat helps people sweat, since dogs don't even have the ability to sweat, hence the panting...
I think what she meant was that it gives people "heat". In Chinese food, every thing you eat has a purpose to balance the body. By example, eating red meat will give you "heat", whereas eating winter melon or water melon will give you "chill".
Dog meat is considered one of the "hottest" red meat available ("hotter" than lamb). Eating "hot" things are generally considered unhealthy during spring or summer periods unless you are located in a very humid area or if you balance them with "chill" food. However I heard some people eat them as some sort of aphrodisiac to increase their sexual potency.
ANNOUNCING THE ROAST OF KULPIMS! Saturday Feb 20.
The time has come again for we, the jesting crew, to
pay tributetake the piss out of one of our own. This time up it'sour Gay Trekkie Roman, aka Kulpims! Why do we pay him this honour you might ask? Is it because of some extraordinary contribution he's made to the community here? Has the man fought heroically in some war overseas? Is he celebrated in the intellectual community for his witty repartee in debating the great moral and political philosophers of our time? NO I say! The reason we give him this great honour is that his name was on the list!!!
I've sifted (so to speak) through his videos and comments for insight into his personality, but came up with nothing but small brown nuggets- very much like the Lincoln Logs I used to find buried in my backyard sandbox as a child. At least I hope they were Lincoln Logs. Some interesting statistics though... He's sifted 507 videos with 12,146 votes received. This translates to a weighted average of a very low 23.9 votes per video. This means that, basically nobody gives a shit what the man posts, except his sock puppet Choggie . http://www.videosift.com/member/kulpims/published
Looking through Roman's comments you'll notice that he communicates mostly through a series of guttural noises generated deep in his diaphragm, and a series of clicks and whistles which are almost inaudible to the human ear. If you can decipher those look here: http://www.videosift.com/usercomments/kulpims.
So... we expect the usual gang of idiots to vomit their wisdom and wit all over these hallowed halls here at Parody Talk. The Roast will start as soon as I haul my hung-over ass out of the sack, promptly at the crack of 2:00 pm Pacific! It's my birthday the night before, and if you think I'm arriving any earlier than that, you're crazy!
See you here crew!
-The RoastMASTER!
It really is a remarkable film, and well-deserving of a bit of publicity.
Smooches to you!

I just spent the last 15 minutes trying to figure out what your current profile pic is. A little help?
That, my friend, was fantastic.

do guys really have this problem?
wanting to fuck women who are equally horny, yet desire for a partner that is a passive, meek door mouse for a relationship?
and then get confused to why there seems to be a sexual schizophrenia in their life?
it is not that complicated.
if you do not desire your girlfriend in the beginning, yet stick around because she has great "susie-home-maker" qualities, you might as well prepare for the divorce now.
the same goes for the opposite.
... real woman because a real woman would only play with him like a cat does a mouse.
8.i could totally be off my rocker and just spouting nonsensical bullshit.
9.while that may be true...woman utterly fascinate me.
what was the question again?
why thank you miss laura.
it really does not seem complicated to me but i have heard men lament this before.
silly men....

ok, so I just finished reading "Running With Scissors" on my new Kindle. I wasn't disturbed or shocked...I thought he handled everything pretty well, considering. Every time I read one of these things I'm more tempted to write my story...need more motivation, got any more recommendations?
In reply to this comment by rottenseed:
I thought I was unshockable after I read that book too, then I followed Manson's book with "Running with Scissors" which disturbed me a lot more than Manson's book
In reply to this comment by laura:
Yeah, I was given it as a gift, lent it to someone, never got it back, bought another one...repeat three times. It's that engrossing. Plus, I learned from that book that I'm a lot naughtier than I thought...
I couldn't be shocked, I tell you.
In reply to this comment by rottenseed:
I love that book. A friend loaned it to me one day and I just casually opened it up to check out how it was written. It sucked me in instantly and it just got better.
In reply to this comment by laura:
Read his book The Long Hard Road Out Of Hell.
I think Bill O'Reily should stick to interviewing people within the reality realm of his understanding.
MM handles these things soooooooo well. I am not such a huge fan of his music, but I am a huge fan of him.
I found it to be in need of a bit more spice, and a little less salt, so will switch-out to low-sodium soup mixes next time, and add more cumin and some dried coriander seeds as well.
Top of the season!
