Are you bringing the kittehs with you?

Thank you! Sorry I've been so occupied, but I DID notice you came back.
I haven't done gone camping a a while, but I am no stranger to it. Thank you for the warning, as I would want to avoid that fate at all costs. We'll probably find some time to lurk on here while at the show.

DFT and I wil be leaving for Montana next month, and I can't wait. Looks breathtakingly beautiful, and I want to see some mountain goats.
Just don't drink the water from those lovely streams and babbling brooks. A few years ago a coworker of mine went for a stroll in the back woods of Montana and drank some water directly from a stream. Can't blame him; the water is cold, crystal clear, and tastes insanely good. He ended up getting giardiasis from the Giardia lamblia in the water. He was sick for over a week, shitting his guts out night and day. That's why experienced hikers carry water filters.
Maybe you already knew this, but I want to be on the safe side. Explosive diarrhea is no fun.
Have a blast in big sky country! Oh, and give the mountain goats and bighorn sheep a wide berth if you see any of them. Moose too. Some of them can be ornery pricks.
